The HOPS TO HOPS BIKE TOUR [A National MS Society Ride]. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2006. Riverhorse Brewery, Lambertville, N.J. A challenging estimated 40-mle fall ride through scenic New Jersey. Ride the beautiful rolling hills of Amwell Valley while enjoying the breath-taking views of teh fall foliage. Begin and end your loop at the River Horse Brewery. Upon your return to the brewery, enjoy a beer sampling along with a catered lunch and hot pretzels!

......I would like to announce a fun event!! It's at the Anthology Films Archives; 32 2nd St. at 2nd Ave., Manhattan. It's the Bicycle Film Festival and YOU CAN SEE THE BEST OF BIKE TV!! with a cast of thousands (or at least Many!),Yours Truly, Yes, Mr. Mohawkdave is apparently part of the huge big screen phenomenon! (That's what I've been told anyway!--Heck maybe You are in it too!!). It starts at 1:00pm and costs $8.50. You see.... that's cheaper than buying mohawkdave a drink!! And guess what??!! On Monday, May 3rd, 2004, commuter bicyclist Paul S. White, Executive Director of Transportation Alternatives, won the Bike Month NYC 2004 Commuter Race by making it from Juniors Restaurant on Flatbush and DeKalb Avenues in Brooklyn to Columbus Circle in Manhattan in 25 minutes. White beat taxi rider Jon Orcutt, Executive Director of the Tri-State Transportation Campaign, by five minutes and subway rider, Gene Russianoff, Senior Attorney for NYPIRGs Straphangers Campaign, by ten minutes.
White, a regular bike commuter, reported that he was happy that his "victory proves to would-be bike commuters that getting to work by bike is fast and easy." He encouraged others to "take advantage of the good summer weather and give bike commuting a spin."
